2 Weeks....

Well, from 9-19, til 2 weeks after that, I will be employed...

Making a HELLUVA drop from what my former employer was paying me (and a drop from what unemployment gives me).

It sounds like a monkey job...making sure 2200 printers are working, getting data and all that...but, it's something, and it keeps me in the Temp Agency's good graces...so, there is that.

Now, to figure out exactly how this screws up my planning to file for Unemployment for those two weeks...

There's something else coming up..an interview on Monday, but I'm not posting about it yet til I go on it...we'll see. Suffice to say, if it comes through, then I'll end up being extremely busy.. :-)

Per... Talk with your rep... I believe that if the amount of your pay does not exceed the amount of your benefit check, then your unemployment check will be less the amount that you're paid. If, on the other hand, the amount of your employment check is more than the amount of your unemployment check, you won't get paid for the week you receive your check, but that money from unemployment is still there for you to use later (basically it will extend the time you're on unemployment by 2 weeks).

Yeah, that's how you'd think, but I had a friend in Boston get caught up in a mess b/c they wanted to reduce his unemployment to the fraction of his last temp job, rather than the regular one he was laid off from. So I'd talk to them and make sure you have it square ahead of time.

And, hopefully it'll result in some contacts.
