per_soloAnother day, another interview.
Except, THIS one seemed much more helpful than the last several.
K-Force...they do staffing, which is what most of the interviews have been with...staffing agencies. Got tips on my resume, presentation, and other such. Took two tests, for areas outside of my general field...Accounts Receivables (71%), and Data Entry (99%)...so, other options.
The DVD is coming...a friend ordered it via Ebay, so it should be arriving eventually...can't wait to get it to its new owner..of course, now I need to print out the cover she wants...but still, it's a small "Thank You" for what she's done for me.
Of course, I'm ALSO wanting 6-Disc DVD cases...ARGH. If I were still employed, I'd have already ordered at least 10 or 20 of these. :-P http://www.genesysdtp.com/index.htm?dvdcase.htm If you have the need for any of these, I HIGHLY recommend this place...good diversity in product...pretty ok prices...the times I've ordered from them before, I've had no complaints with them. So, there, they get the Per_Solo stamp of approval. Fortunately for me, and my sanity, the 6 disc cases are currently sold out, and have been for a little while.
Am watching Northern Exposure..never got into this show when it was on...in fact, up until yesterday, I'd only ever seen one episode..."Cicely". Amusing thing...watching the third episode of the series, and Christa Miller is in it..she who would eventually become "Jordan" on Scrubs...kinda interesting.
Still putting in resumes via Careerbuilder, Monster, Dice and others...still waiting, still not going totally insane.
Went to a Baby shower this last weekend..and then took it easy on Sunday. Today was the interview, then ended up doing lunch at Rock Bottom Brewery up here...we got appetizers, as the girls had free appetizer cards...and DAMN their appetizers are big...big enough that I took part of one home, for dinner tonite. YAY.
Other than that? Not a whole lot else my brain is processing. So there, updated...fun. :-)
