Tiring, Busy...

per_soloSo, this weekend I've been housesitting...
That actually works out pretty good..(As I look up and notice I missed a cobweb)....have watched a few shows I hadn't in a long time...and, got treated to a dinner last night..
Desi and her husband invited several of us out to their place...well, after dinner, we watched a bootleg that she had gotten a few years ago..it was Fraggle Rock (which I just typed as Scrabble Rock..hmmm). Anyway...I was confused, as instead of "Doc", we had a captain in a lighthouse...well, turns out this was the UK version of Fraggle...with Travelling Matt going to better places than I remember him going when I watched the show when it was first out.
We played "name that voice" with several of the characters...like, Wembley is the voice of Rizzo the Rat on the Muppets...can't remember the others right now..we DID manage to pick out Henson's voice..that one is usually obvious.
So, the question came up of what the arabic version of the show would be like..suffice to say, my filter didn't work, and I made a rather inappropriate joke about Doozer Towers...
Anyway, went to my Sister and Nephew's bday parties today...gave her Roseanne, and gave my nephew several comics, including the Star Wars Dark Empire series...went out to car, after, and my tire was almost flat..hmm...does not bode well.
We got it aired back up, and I'll see how it looks tomorrow, before deciding to take it down to Big O tires, where the tires were bought for me a year and a half ago...and see if they can either fix it, or put two new/used tires on the front.
*sigh*
My cousin found it amusing that I'll be going to IUPUI...I have a hard time talking on that, as it seems so many things can go insane between now and then. Mom is still worried for me...the whole "not having a lot of cash, and being at school, so less time to work, make money to live as I'm accustomed, and a LOT more responsibility". It'll work...Now to hope the mail arrives, and I get to go meet with a counselor or such...that way I can figure out how to make this swing, cash wise.
Other than that, almost pathetically normal...
