Woke up ungodly early for a Saturday for the two hour drive...

Got to the trade show just in time for it to open up...on my feet for a long ass time (not counting lunch), and showed the Candyman game off to a lot of people.

Also saw a whole bunch of stuff coming out...some fun games, the fact that IDW will be publishing the "continuation" of DC's Fallen Angel book...neat book by Devil's Due called "Hack/Slash"..got a copy of SJG "Munchkin Bites 2: Pants Macabre"...and, apparently, was much luckier in getting swag at this show than I had at Gencon...thanks to IDW, walked away with two Hardback collections, in slipcovers...for "30 days of Night" and its sequel "Dark Days", both of which I've heard rave reviews of..A game from the group that does "Apples to Apples", can't remember the name...a couple of RPGs I'll likely never play...a Dork Tower compilation, a BIG Nodwick comp...and a few other things that the brain isn't sorting out.

Schmoozed a bit...and now, am home, and dead tired...and need to find out if a group is going to Brown County tomorrow...if so, then I'll go..if not, well, then I get to clean and relax a tad...will be nice either way. :-)

All in all, feel like my luck is up today...kinda nice. :-P

Edit: 9:37pm..

Ok...so, the "30 days of night" and "Dark Days" slipcover books...um, according to amazon..."75.00" and "100.00" respectively...um...wow. That knocks the hell out of what swag I did at Gencon, for sure...Um...damn.

Ok...fingers are crossed that today/tonite continues to be as lucky a day. :-P
