No word in the near future on this job, so I'm now being submitted to Anthem for a 6 month to hire position...sounds good so far, we'll see how it ends up.

Tired, stressed over jobs...stressed over X-mas...

Yup...dunno why, but that somehow changed...so, fortunately, the Anthem thing sounds good..if it's a 6 month to hire gig, then no problem. If not, well, it's a good period of time to be working and planning.

I had one dickhead job on my last job hunt that told me they were going to make an offer, then called back a day later and said they needed "more time." When I called to find out when they thought they'd do something, I got the worst kind of, "Don't call us; we'll call you." I'm still pissed off about it.

At any rate, if they changed their story on you like that, I guess it doesn't sound good :(. Maybe they offered the job to someone else, but they like you a lot for a second pick if it turns out they need two people. Or something. Hopefully the Anthem thing will go through.
