Weekend...

per_soloWell, the weekend was interesting.
Spent today cleaning a bit...and trying to organize my Hard Drive...the computer has a 200 G drive I've been using for storage..well, it it likely much faster than the 80G, so I'm trying to prep it, in order to do a clone of the drive, then use Partition Magic to extend the partition, and use the 200 G as the primary drive, and the 80 as a storage drive. We'll see how that goes...
No word on whether I won the computer I tried to win. :-P Fingers are crossed, but according to the site, I should have gotten a mail...ah well, was worth the shot.
I should hear on at least one if not two jobs tomorrow...not sure on either, s'far as whether I stand a chance, but considering that I'm slowly losing sanity points (Call of Cthulhu...gamer geeks rule), I need to try to feel optimistic about such.
Went through the closet, to try to find clothes I don't or won't wear...go ahead, make all the "Per came out of the closet" jokes...those NEVER get old. :-) Though, I'll let Powerstar get away with it.
Placed an order for DVD cases...had DVDs returned, but the cases were cracked, and the loanee covered the cost of them, plus half of shipping...so, placed the order, and now I'm happy with that...though, need to place a phone call...as, if she didnt' have my Season 6, I have no clue what happened to it...I can't find it. Grrr...argh.
Last night, COJ, was nominated for President of the club...and, gave it quite a bit of thought, actually...but, when it came down to varied things, I'm w/o a job, and I'm now a student at IUPUI...in Jan. I have no CLUE where my life is going to be going over the next several months...and, given my own screwy state of life, can't take on the task of running the club. Ah well...life happens, and all that.
Must work on computer for sister...of course, fixing my own computer, at this point, allows me to do that...eventually, need to buy a 16X DVD DL Writer...and give her hte 8X. Of course, that's not likely to happen, til after HOliday cash. Compared to the computer she currently has, this one will be blazing...and, should do what she and the kids need it to do.
No more thoughts right now...brain is percolating on a short story...we'll see how much further that one goes, too.
