Didn't get ahold of IUPUI Financial Aid...will try Friday or next week, actually.
Got a call back about one of the jobs I interviewed for last week, they filled the position. At least they were kind enough to let me know. Seemed surprised when I thanked them for letting me know.
Got a partial comment back about the Anthem job, but still no real word on good/bad or whatever on that one.
Getting ready for Thanksgiving.
Went to give a monitor to Confusedjew today, and her computer wouldn't come up after a bit, so am now trying to salvage the Hard Drive out of it, and at least get her the information she wanted off of it..if I can miraculously bring it back to life, so much the better, but the odds are low..its last rebuild was in 99...yeah, it's possible, but I don't know. Talked to her Dad for a bit about the convention. Am trying to figure exactly how I can help, given my upcoming year...
Would LOVE to go to the Second City "All Night" event coming up in early december..hmm....
Trying to still figure out how to do school. And stopping (or trying to) being pissy at the enormous change in life. :-) It'll all work out, or I'll claim bankrupty, and start over. Why not, eh? It's what all the people seem to be doing in this economy.
Partial facetiousness there, by the way.
Still, in 3 days, I get to go see Wild Mercy, I'm working on a few things for friends and family, and trying to stay otherwise busy...lest I go bugfuck. :-P
And, just last night got into the band Siouxsie and the Banshees...newest thing to investigate. Fortunately, the Library exists for such things.
If I don't update til late tomorrow, have a happy Thanksgiving.
Oh, on another note...do NOT visit Smokey Bones restaurant, in Castleton....stomach feels like a riot is taking place...ugh.
