One less show to record...

Well, the interview went well. However, it's more of a factory position, and isn't something that goes with my skills. We'll see how things come in from their end, but it's not a position I'll be taking.

I HAVE my memories of factory work...the shuffle, the temperature variances (and this spot has no AC...), and the people who worked at the factory I was at seemed similar to these folks.

Feh...at least I still have one job currently lined up.

AND, in relation to the subject...Fox has cancelled "Reunion", which I find a damn shame, as it had a neat concept...I'd heard some folks wondering how they would follow up with a second season, and I guess at this point, it's moot. I think it'll be lucky for it to wrap up well with what it's got going on right now.

Also, I think it was announced that Threshold and Hot Properties were cancelled as well. Had heard mixed reviews on Threshold, and was vaguely aware of Hot Properties...ah well.

Now, onto the second interview tomorrow, with a company I interviewed with a few months ago. Am already on an uneasy frame of mind, in regards to that one..as they seemed to really need someone then, and the comment on the phone was that they just NOW were getting around to second interviews. The paranoid in my brain is saying that they got someone, and it didn't work out.

As the guy in the original interview prided himself on being upfront, that may well be one of my first questions. We'll see.

I have no idea...the article didn't say anything about that, just that they had cancelled it...that the lead in from "The OC" wasn't holding over.

Threshold

Threshold started out strong, at least the 2 hour premier episode. But quickly after that it seemed the entire concept was:

Big drama at start of each episode, and was wrapped up at end of episode. Then we start all over again with the next episode.

Invasion is kind of neat, as at the end of each episode we still don't really know what is going on, and is she, or isn't she, one of "them".

I suspicion with the second interview is that they made an offer to someone, and that offer was refused, so they are going back to their pool of possibles and trying again.
