Well, did it.

per_soloWith school, and the new job coming up, finally made the decision I probably needed to make.
Am pulling back from the Club and convention (though, I'll still be there to help, if needed, and am still running programming this coming year), and made the announcement.
Really, that's hard to do for something you've worked for 10 years on...
I'll miss seeing friends there, but if I'm any kind of friend, I'll see them at other places. Some have made the effort to see me outside of that forum, now I just need to make the time and follow through on it. Friends are worth that.
Today (later) will be me going to Comcast at some point..or, calling into comcast, saying I need a CM replaced, and then going in to swap it out. No, I"m not buying one yet, as I don't have the money..hell, I won't have a credit card again until later this week...so, will still be renting a cable modem for a while..but, tis good to know that, thanks to RC, I now know that my Cable Modem is the issue. Thanks! :-)
At some point, need to call NCR and let them know that I cannot take the job they are offering me. Then, need to follow up on a few of the other jobs..install the IUPUI VPN software on my machine, make sure that the Math class got scheduled correctly, and see what else I need to do...what my next several steps are.
So, my life gets to be chaotic and insane for the next several years..because, going to school, I can't half ass it. Then again, I'm realizing that many things can no longer afford to be half assed, but that's me going off on a tangent...when I really should be going to bed here shortly, as I have what feels like a hundred things to do in the near future.
One day at a time...not just a bad 70s TV show, but sage advice.
