So, got a nice 200G drive a while ago...and, just now, was going to format it, since it's faster, make it my primary drive, and the nice 80G becomes a music drive..
Formatted, installed, all nice software...did it smart, still kept the other drive live so I could take my time..
Hmmm...112 G of free space? That can't be right...
Yes, the drive is only seeing about 128G of it's 200 capacity.
Have attempted the upgrades of software..no, my motherboard is the problem.
FEH.
So, have the old drive hooked up while I research, and try to figure out what to do...getting a new M/B is not an option...because, when you upgrade the M/B, you may as well upgrade memory and processor while you're at it.
*sigh* Ah well...will see if I can make the 80 do what I'm trying to do. More for future...and, once I have a job, I can think of things like Computer Upgrades.
Ran into a guy I used to work with today...good to touch base (He hadn't worked at the company in a while), and we both had a good laugh. :-)
