So, I'm likely to start doing "Movie Nights" again, with the help of friends..

Now, the question is...themes...

The one that came out today when i thought about it was "Superheroes", or "Comic to Film"...

Ya know, Superman...Batman..Batman Begins, X-Men, X-Men 2, Spiderman 1 and 2...The Crow..the problem is, that would have to be a Movie Day...

So, what other movie themes do you see? Suggestions? :-)

We were going to have a Sarcastic Ghetto Movie night and watch things such as Soul Plane, Friday, Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, and the like. Refreshments would be fried chicken and malt liquor.

It never came to fruition, though, partiallhy due to the host's apartment complex recently having been scheduled for demolition in order to build a Wal-Mart (I'm not kidding).

That totally depends on how many movies have to be in the list to make it a "night".

The concept of a movie night with more than 1-2 movies is beyond me. I prefer one movie/night. I'd have theme months :). But that's just me. I know your appetite for media is insatiable.

Well, you could always do a "chick flicks guys can watch" night, or a John Cusack night. I was going to suggest 80's night, but [livejournal.com profile] confusedjew beat me to it. You could, of course, narrow that down further & do a John Hughes night. ;)

Of course, from personal preferences (other than the ones above) I'd be inclined to go with a Jimmy Stewart or a Katherine Hepburn night. Maybe a Cary Grant night, or a Bogart night (which might dovetail into noir, depending on how you did it).

Didn't we try to do a Kevin Smith night a couple years ago?
