Two Movie Reviews...
Mar. 20th, 2006 09:58 amWatched Two Movies yesterday..both were amusing.
First, watched "Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Wererabbit" - For those who don't know, I've followed Wallace and Gromit for years..first saw the "A close shave" short, then the two previous to that.
The movie? Was fun..not great, but fun..the bunnies were cute, the wererabbit was cute, and as always, the main reason to watch the show was Gromit...probably one of my favorite animated characters...any dog that can help an inventor is the kind of dog I'd like to own..anyways, I recommend for at least one view.
The second movie? "Saving Star Wars". Filmed right here in Indianapolis, this movie follows a disillusioned Star Wars fan who is tasked by his sick child to get a letter to George Lucas...at the big Star Wars celebration event...a local, who looks a bit like Lucas in younger/mid years, plays in this and has a fun time with it.
I'm sad to say, I know MANY of the stereotype characters in the movie...and felt like the lead at times. :-) However, it was another fun one, that had me laughing in spite of my wanting to.
And hey, it has a Tom Smith song in it..can't beat that.
