Sep. 4th, 2003 10:17 amFeeling better today...throat still has that bad "tickle"....
Slept, almost ALL of yesterday...woke up to check things (as readers of this LJ noticed), and then went back to sleep...woke up close to 5:00, and went to bed about 10:00...after starting laundry.
Reading "Everything's Eventual", by King..just made it past the story the book is named after..not bad. I'm kinda curious if King is bringing that character back for the wrap up of the Dark Tower series...
Am working on two Gateway laptops right now...one has a cracked LCD, the other has a "foot" missing, and the USB ports are messed up...so, am taking the LCD from the second, and putting it on the first...sounds easy, right?
Hell no..Gateway makes their equipment so that it has 500 screws, and requires Advanced Mathematics, and Psychic Ability, to figure out how to get the damned case apart. All this to turn two bad machines into one good one. Argh.
Today is Comic Day...3 I can think of that I want, with a possible fourth...New Mutants, Sigil, I thougth Crux was coming out, but apparently Negation is in its place..pretty pictures, with cool stories.
Tonite...I have nothing planned. I screwed up...was sick yesterday, which if I hadn't been, would have given me time to test a game that I need to know how to play by Saturday...hmmm...will just have to go over the directions/instructions a few more times, to make sure I have it down as well as possible...
And, have MOST of my office cleaned up...got kinda tired of seeing it messed up as it was...same with the Apt.
