Yes, starting to get nervous...
Sep. 15th, 2004 10:51 amWow, my heart is beating slightly more rapidly, and I'm not even on a plane yet...
Yes, the trip to Vegas is starting to make me a little more nervous than normal...I was given advice to just stay up all night, then sleep on the flight..but that would likely make me sleepy during out "break out" session when we all arrive in Vegas...
Talked about a few card games with a woman at work...just because of the Bond obsession, I'm tempted to try one hand of bacarrat....have to try a hand of Blackjack...
Of course, if I'm serious that I'd like to come BACK with money, I ought to just give my friend D my cash, and see what he can make of it...give him $100 or $120, and see what he can make of that in 3 days...give him a fair cut of profits...
Of course, the last time I sent someone to vegas with cash, it didn't do them much good...and, well, I have a VERY hard time just throwing money away like that...probably my biggest complaint about Vegas in general...
Of course, it's only 4 days...not that, even...I'll leave Thursday morning, and come back on Sunday morning, so I can be home by 4:00something...Drew and Wife are staying out longer to hang out with D...I wish I could, but by that point, I'll be wanting to get home, sleep, and be ready for whatever chaos Monday at work will be...
Must remember to set tape to record...well, hmmm...I don't have anything to record while I'm out...Dead Like Me is caught up, Six Feet Under is over, Father of the Pride and Scrubs was last night (I'd love to find tapes of the early seasons of Scrubs..just to see the evolution of the show), and I'm not recording anything else...weird. I think this is the first vacation I remember where I didn't have anything to record. Wow.
Anyways, I'm rambling...time to go to lunch, anyways.
