I may be going to Texas soon...

One of the Tempers needs someone to go out and bring a Holiday Inn online...

Nerves are going nuts...

Of course, if I make it, I can visit a friend out there. :-P

In theory, the job is bringing the place online...all scripted, a phone number to call with problems in the steps...

$18 an hour...ONe Day, flight to and from covered, Room comped at Hotel, Rental Car covered.

Will see how it goes shortly. But, if I'm going, they need to call me back DAMNED quick, so I can get ready..Bag is packed, just to be safe. But, if I'm supposed tob e there two hours in advance, that means I need to leave home NOW!

Now, what to do about parking the car...doubt it's too short of notice to get a ride down there, and leave my car at home. AHHH! Nerves!

Going to Texas.

Brownville, which apparently is on the Gulf Coast...Mom said weather is supposed to be 87.

One day...hopefully, the Place I'm staying has a Business Center. Then I can check mail and all that, and give an update, once I get in...

Weird, packing a small bag for just a night, really...though, I DID put in some "comfy" clothes, for the flight back...damned if I'm going to sit in Business clothes on a flight, if I don't have to.

Yes, panicky...but, I think that's just because this has all come together at literally THE LAST MINUE. They are willing to cover just about every expense problem to get me down there..dunno if that makes me feel good, or REALLY puts the alarm systems up..

Either way, I'll get to mark another state off. :-P
