Jan. 29th, 2006 11:04 pmToday was sleeping in a bit, then cleaning up a bit more, then going shopping at Wal-Mart..
Yay, fun, yeah, I know, such the exciting life. :-P
Worked on stuff for school for a bit, will work on that a bit more tomorrow...rough draft by next Saturday...no class, as the teacher is out, but, we need/should have our rough drafts ready to go by then, along with getting peer responses for it and all.
Tis neat..have formed a little sub-group in the class...
Bored, tired, dreading tomorrow...go figure, eh? Still, have to endure this..but, it's weird to be reading the book "Geeks" by Jon Katz, and reading about geek social order...that Helpdesk (at one point it was discussed) is the absolute lowest of the geek jobs that anyone can get...yay. :-P
As a friend used to say, bored outta my gourd...fortunately, a friend is looking for me..says his company will likely need someone with my skills. That's a good hopeful...the downside? MANY months down the line...ah well. Things could be worse.
Have set Tuesday as the day I need to either have an e-mail address for whoever is doing programming for the convention, else I just forward everything to the conchair address...either way, will fully be done with it at that point.
State of the Union this week, so several of my shows get preempted...and, non suprisingly, NBC did the bonehead move of cancelling Book of Daniel...both wish I had watched it, and am glad I didn't.
I miss my L word this season. :-)
