(no subject)

Ok...so, am thinking of napping a bit...woke up early, to go to the License branch, as my plates expired 3 days ago...whoops. I seem to remember a time where I had til the end of my birth month to get that crap taken care of, but whatever..

And, had to renew my license..and, managed to just finish a book (I needed a break from the paper I'm working on...meh)...

The book? Wow...glad I'm in a mostly "happy" spot, or it would have seriously had me bawling. :-P "The 5 people you meet in heaven", and now, after reading a good review on the TV movie, am tempted to see what they did with it..the casting choices...am curious.

Today? More schoolwork, some cleaning, then a Quantum meeting...and a video project for a friend.

Am debating how to do a side business for Audio Conversion..taking old family cassettes, and making them digital...not quite sure how to go about doing that, so if anyone has a clue, let me know...might be a good "side" job that would pull in a few extra bucks..and, well, the audio project years ago is still something I look back on and go "You did Damn Good".

Anyone have anything going on today?

Toxicity (stolen idea)

So, not too long ago, a friend posted a "Toxic" post, basically, a whole lot of jumbled thoughts to get the demon out of the head.

Now, in ADVANCE, the following statements can be attributed to people..most are not online, a few are..both good and bad.

IF you think a negative applies to you, pause to wonder why...chances are, it's not you I'm aiming that one at. :-) However, if it makes you think, consider it. Sorry for the disclaimer, but I'm not trying to create "drama" or angst..

1. If you had half a clue where the problem was, we could actually be friends.

2. I am NOT your saviour...hell, I can barely save myself. To get out of the problems you see, YOU have to take the first step, no one is going to hit you with a 2X4 to do it.

3. I wish I had more time to spend with you, even if we would probably end up killing each other. However, you're extremely dear to my heart, I just don't know how to tell you that.

4. If you feel your life sucks? DO something about it. Sitting back and watching it pass you by is only going to make you feel like a watcher...trust me, and eventually, you'll tell yourself you have no more time to do anything else.

5. I'm sorry for the friendship we lost, but if you look at it, we both were killing each other. There was no way to meet your expectations, and I was too rosey eyed to see the problems lying deeper.

6. Thank you, for being there when I've needed, to listen to me vent, see me cry, and catch me when I fall.

7. You could talk me into a lot...some against my better judgement, some with it, either way, it tends to be a hell of a ride.

8. I wonder how you are..are you surviving? Have things gotten better? For not having any real way to contact you, I wonder...

9. You always have a way of making me laugh, when things are looking down, and I thank you for that.

10. You broke me, and left parts of me in tatters, but good did come of it..both for myself, and others around me, though I'll carry your scar for much longer than I care to. I hope you find what you are desperately craving.

11. If something is none of your business, or you are too close to the problem, why can't you see that and quietly step back? Trust me, no one will think less of you, and it saves embarrasment and bad will.

12. You feel your life is boring? Remember, the grass is always greener..I know people who have insane existences who'd be happy with a little boring in their lives.

13. When will you wake up and see that there is an actual problem in your life? And better yet, see the chaos it's created around you? Yet, there you go, oblivous to it all. And what's worse, I fear that were I in your position, I'd have the exact same reaction.

14. I miss the times we used to hang out and do nothing..just sit and talk, with the group of friends we had at the time, at cookouts, and I wonder how we can all get that back, or if we've all just moved past it.

15. Time and distance seperate us, and I see no solution to that, and it makes me feel like I can't do what I do for any friend (which actually drives several of them insane)

16. You have talent, you have vision...isn't it time you put it to use instead of sitting on it?

17. You do NOT have to be the center of attention, or a created character...if your friends are still hanging out with you? It's because they know YOU...you can let your guard down around them more often.

18. I have no clue where I'd be right now without your impact in my life, yet I have no means to express that. Thank you sounds weak, and saying nothing makes it seem unappreciated.

19. I miss you.


And what do you know, she was right...I do feel better having gotten a bit of that out...

Now, to prep for Quantum.
