Anansi Boys.

per_soloSo, read Anansi Boys this weekend...
It wasn't bad...it wasn't "American Gods", but it was a cute little side story in that world.
Dunno if I'd reread it..basically, it follows the path of one Charles Nancy, son of Anansi, the trickster spider god whom you first met in American Gods. If you liked AG, you'll probably like this one as well, but they are different books..neat, in this one, as a narrative device informs you that all stories are Anansi stories...and, most of the Brer Rabbit stories we know are, in fact, Anansi's....can't say much, as always, I fear giving away vital plot elements. Go figure, eh?
No idea on rest of the day. Think I've finally managed to find the ONE VR5 episode I need to complete the collection...years ago, Rhino put out VHS tapes that had allthe VR5 eps...well, one tape was screwed up, and duplicated an ep that was on a previous tape...so, one BIG episode was missing. Now, the ep I'm getting? VERY low quality..so, I'm hoping to convert the VHS to DVD, and use the missing ep, even though it's of lesser quality. Ah well, such is life.
And, found a new Icon, in honor of Sin City.
