Youtube is EVIL..

I just relived the several months I was working at Sears, SEVERAL years ago...There was an arcade in the same mall, and the following is the video sequence from Dragon's Lair II

Suffice to say, I spent a LOT of quarters on the following game...if you've got ten minutes to waste watching a video (or even part of it), or were a video game nut, like myself, I recommend. Also, on that page, you can find links to the original dragon's lair video, Space Ace..the ending for Dragon's Lair...man, Youtube is going to take over the world.

However, I fear I've been cursed..I couldn't stop laughing at the Alice in Wonderland sequence. Anyone who has seen the 1970s "Alice in Wonderland" MUSICAL porn...I'm sure you can understand.

We, uh, own the Space Ace game. And there's an arcade near our house that still has the Dragon's Lair I and II games, among a ton of other 80s games.

*heh* I own the DL II game...and wow on the arcade..Last I knew, there was ONE place that had the first game..

I never played Space Ace...dunno why, probably cause I was more into D&D than Sci-Fi at the time..to this day, last night (er...early this morning) was the first time I'd watched the video of that game..

Used to be a BIG game junkie...anymore? Not as much..I play a few online games (Latest hook is at http://www.onemorelevel.com/games.php?game=42), but I just don't buy or play like I used to...:-)

It's like "The Ring" in our group of friends... :-P Quite amusing, and the musical aspect actually WORKS for it...tis what I gave to Jeff, Rob, and Umbreit for Christmas a year or so ago...can't remember when.

Space Ace was one of those games which tempted me way too often. I was better at Tempest and space invaders - but my love was pinball. LOVE PINBALL!!! Hey, could we get a Meteor Pinball game for InCon? I was never good at Space Ace, but loved watching him get fried. :)
