Ok. Going to an interview, start the new job tomorrow. Will try to update a little later in the day.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

Edit: 3:53pm

And, the interview went well. Now comes the real problem. If I get this job? I'd be 8-5, downtown, for at least a month...then the shift moves to 2-11pm.

Pay is $14.

The good with this one? Computers, Downtown, close to school, and I can keep my school schedule the same as it is now.

The bad? It's not a management position. And so far, most of the people I've talked to have thought that staying in a management position is a REALLY GOOD IDEA. For $2 less an hour.

No offer made on the city job yet, and I'm not counting on it. But, if I did interview well, then I get stuck in the position I'd hoped to avoid, which is having to make a decision between the two jobs. Won't count that one before it hatches, though.

Tomorrow is orientation at Ace, will write more later.

personally, I would take the downtown job... the title means nothing if you are managing no one but yourself. You can always get a title of "team-lead" or something that will hold as much weight, and the downtown job is better in the way of time and location for school. Don't let anyone talk you out of school, it is a good thing if it is something that you want to do for you.

Peace,

Bear
