Good weekend overall...seems it went WAY too quick.

Family Bday party was yesterday...Sister got me "The Last Unicorn" and "Beverly Hills Cop" on DVD...and got cash from rest of family. Cash that filled my gas tank (Gas was $1.76 in Franklin...it's $1.83 up here in INdy), and will go into the Vacation Fund, which reminds me that I need to send an e-mail out to the vacation group...yes, after all this time, I'm planning on going to The House on the Rock finally.

Yes, American Gods helped me pick that...right now, I'm looking at Memorial Day weekend...now to find out who can go, how much it should cost, as I know that I'll want to pick up a souvenir or such, and to actually plan the thing..I suck at planning, which is why it's now two months til, and I'm planning.

Mom and Dad sent me home with Chicken Parmesan, homemade, and some potatoes...and, spent today cleaning up the living room, doing laundry, destroying a patch of mold that I'd found in my Apt., and reading "The Last unicorn"...oh, and watched some of the DVDs I got for Bday...

And now I get to go to bed, and go to work in the morning.

Ah, if I could just manage to win the lottery, and not have to work for a while...or knock out the Killer Script that would make me millions...still, that's not likely to happen for a bit, so work is a necessary evil of life. Hmmm...Evil is Live spelled backwards..ok, enough of that.

So, as I said, all in all, a fun weekend.

Glad you had a great birthday!

I don't totally understand why you want to go to the House on the Rock. It sounds even more kitchy than how Gaiman described it. But, hey, have a great time. You need the vacation :).
