THE TENDERNESS TOUR
After 17 years on the road as an activist for children everywhere
through his "Tenderness Tour," Indianapolis child rights activist
Richard Propes has had enough.
Within a week of his most recent "Tenderness Tour" in Indianapolis on
September 23rd, 2006 Richard has joined the nation in grieving the loss
of children in school shootings in Colorado and Pennsylvania.
Propes, long recognized for his wheelchair tours and radical devotion
to ending child abuse and domestic violence, has long believed that this
nation's voices of love must rise up and shout louder than the voices
of abuse, violence and hatred that are claiming the lives of America's
children.
At midnight on October 5, 2006 Propes will begin a hunger strike with
the sole vision of raising up 10,000 voices for America's children to
speak out against violence perpetrated against our children.
Propes, founder and volunteer Executive Director of the Tenderness
Tour, begins this hunger strike believing that his hunger for a safe
community for every child is the most important hunger of all.
Propes is calling on men, women and children nationwide to join him in
a renewed commitment to America's children by writing the Tenderness Tour with your pledge to work toward ending violence in the lives of
children in your community. All 10,000 voices who write Richard will be listed on a special "10,000 Voices" page on the Tenderness Tour website at http://www.tendernesstour.com.
You can write Richard in one of two ways:

PO Box 20367
