if I don't have at least a few of my "admin" friends who enjoy this one, I'll, well, I have no idea what I'll do.
*deep breath* By this afternoon, my car will be paid off. 5 years and a month (or such). Got my final note for payment, could pay it in two chunks, but figure it's better just to pay it, be done, and have one less bill.
The good with that? After this one, I have one true bill, and a couple of outstanding debts, but the majority, from the "dark road" to where i am right now, is clear, money wise. The head? eh, tis a work in progress. :-P
This will be weird, not having this payment, not WORRYING about this payment. Between rent and car, those were the two ones that were driving me mad a while ago.
Time, everything improves in time. No, not pollyanna (at least, not yet), but evaluating, contemplating, examining. Not going TOO deep, as you want to talk about a sure way to snap myself back into muddled chaotic mindsets. There is a very thin line between the phrase "Remember the past lest you repeat it", and dredging up and dredging up with no value in sight of that.
This weekend? Busy, with a side of busy. Tday with friends, a craft day that I'm likely skipping, because i have a test on Sunday. :-) How is your weekend looking?

Date: 2006-11-10 06:51 pm (UTC)*nod* Thank you. It is weird, to be free of that. And also a little paranoia inducing. :-P
Better the character ranting and flailing than the writer? :-) So, let the character rant and flail, that lets you figure how to pull them back.

Date: 2006-11-10 07:35 pm (UTC)Random Note: Casey Kasem still plays the voice of Shaggy in Scooby Doo. He's one of three voices who has ever played this character... and he's still working. Him and Dick Clark have to be cyber robots... I swear. -_-

Date: 2006-11-10 08:59 pm (UTC)I know the one nice part about being me right now is the comparative lack of bills. Still, weekend is going to suck. And suck hard. 17 hours scheduled, and I know they will ask for me. I'll try to send happy thoughts on Sunday, but if I can't because I'm at work, I'll try to send negative to other people on the class's curve.

Date: 2006-11-11 04:51 am (UTC)As for us? Dinner tonight with friends, buying a new car tomorrow for Bear (ack! car payments!) and then going out with friends, and then heading off to India.. You know, the usual stuff. :P
