Busy Busy week and weekend.

The last few days have been fun, busy and crazy.

First, going back to last Tuesday...watched "Love, Actually", which is not what it was really advertised as...a cute british dramady about love...Hugh Grant is pretty good in it, playing the character we all recognize him as...except, now it's as if that character from "Four Weddings" was now Prime Minister of England...hmmmm...still, worth the watch for the scene where he and the American President are having a press conference.

Did the free Ice Cream at both Ben and Jerry's AND Baskin Robbins last week...tried "Phish Food" from B&J's and loved it...there is now a pint of it in my freezer at work...Baskin Robbins was just Rocky Road, because I couldn't see what they had, and it was packed.

Friday was the Board Meeting for the Circle of Janus..went well, and then we celebrated a birthday, and watched the movie "Crossworlds", which, while being a Rutger Hauer film, was good as well. Interesting sci-fi take...

Saturday, I watched "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels", before going to our monthly game. Game was good...I'm really curious on where we're going to end up with it. Now, if I didn't feel so rushed on Games days...you see, Game days coincide with Club Meeting days...and, this weekend, a friend from out of state came to visit. Fortunately, Colin knew what was going on, seemed to enjoy the meeting, and he, Drew and I went to Union Jacks after the meeting. Had the BEST Stromboli I've had in a long time...and then we hit Netheads, which is a network gaming place...$6.00 an hour, and you can play all sorts of games against or with your friends. We played Unreal Tournament 2004, and were playing assault mode, so all three of us were on the same team. For Colin, this was great, as he's not played the game..

Yesterday, I watched "Snatch", and liked it...thought Pitt did a really good job in it. Then, slept and cleaned a little..went shopping, before going down to Savidya's to watch "Big Fish", which was another one...I'm having issues describing it, mainly because I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it. Suffice to say, with the cast it has, it is a very well done movie. Ewan was GREAT...DeVito and Buscemi were good, along with many others that I'm forgetting right now.

Got home, dogs were barking around the complex for a good part of the night, so I didn't drop to sleep until 2:00...ugh.

And, in a nutshell, that was my weekend.
