per_soloHave most of my paper done now. And it sounds horrid to my ears. Feh. Why taxes shouldn't be increased to fund stadiums. I know I'm being overly critical.
Also did a minor friends cut. May do more. Will state that if you want to remove yourself from seeing what is going on with me? Go for it. As one who was, at least at one point, wiser than me stated, in some cases, we've gone separate paths, in others, I don't keep up with you. In a few others, it's more a courtesy to a said former friend. IF you want to stay reading things? Let me know. And no, this is not the "Oh woe is me, I'm cutting people just to get the ego boost of them saying please keep me", because I think that's one of the most egotistical and bullshit things to do in this place. BUT, I may be wrong on who all does or doesn't want to remain, so I'll try to leave a few doors open. However, I don't want to fall into the also existing bullshit of "Oh, I don't dare cut this person because how is that perceived". Trust me, I know my own head better lately, and realize that everyone has their own trials and tribulations that they are going through RIGHT at this moment in time.
In better news, got my presents for friends ordered, and now to wrap when they arrive, and do a few other things with them. Then work with sister on family gifts this year.
Paper will be done this evening.
Apparently, you can donate platelets more often than whole blood. So, I'll be doing my first platelet donation tomorrow. Yes, will have an update on it, and how it goes. They said I may feel "odd" afterwards, as they add something to the blood (anti-coagulant maybe??), and it is at room temp, so will feel a chill of sorts.
Never mind that tomorrow is supposed to be a cold day anyways. :-P
Now, off to lunch with a friend downtown.
