Ok. Classes are now over.

This class was an experiment, of sorts, both for me, and the people running the class. They'd never run a 1 week certification before, and me, well, I'm still seeding some options to make my future a little better.

After 1 week, a WHOLE lot of us were worrying. We needed to do a speed test, in under 7 minutes, 12 drinks. And needed a 75% on the test, which included a LOT of recipes.

Speed Test was my biggest concern, and a guy named Jeff helped me out with a few tips in advance.

My speed? 6 minutes. Whoot! I got that out of the way first.

Took the test, after we had a class review. Managed to score a few of the "bonus points" on a few recipes that we hadn't really gone over in class.

Waited, waited...and got an 85%. I'm now a licensed Mixologist. :-)

I think I'll try to sleep in tomorrow.

Now I go in and work on my time, so that I'm more likely to be picked by them for party gigs, and look for gigs on Craigslist, and through word of mouth. (Well, and pay for the Flair class, too)

And check IUPUI to see when my classes officially start.

And pick up knitting as a hobby in the near future. :-)
