Awake, Alive.

Christmas was good. Got my coat, another coat, and a whole lot of other things that I can't really think to list.

Ear is still achy. Feh. So, managed to sleep part of today away. Mom gave me something called Zicam, which seems to be doing wonders for me feeling a little better, but it's making me tired (almost as if one is fighting off something).

This week, need to go get ingredients for what I'm taking to the NY gathering, and need to also buy some knitting supplies.

Yup, I'm going to attempt to learn to knit this year. :-P What's another hobby. In that regard, Desidera, what is it I need to look for, needle wise, and yarn wise? Thanks in advance.

Hope the day is going well for everyone else. I'm still feeling under weather, so I'm liable to take it easy a bit.

I DID use the X-mas money to buy a cookbook. Anyone interested in looking at it (or better, buying it), go to the following site. It explains it much better than I can.

Even I don't have my copy yet. *grin* It should arrive in the mail very soon, I hope. I know some of them have been mailed out by looking at the sales reports, and it makes me want to jump up and down in my seat to think of folks getting it into their hands! :)

Take a picture of yourself with it when it arrives, pretty please, and send it off to me? I want to post pics on the Big Damn Chefs site...
