Being on the phone to tech support sucks.

Being on the phone to tech support in INDIA sucks harder.

All I want is for my broken speaker to work right. That's not that hard, right?

Fortunately, after a long while, Dell is going to replace the speaker.

In other news, the southside Half Price doesn't have the Pratchett books I want, and my Firefly Cookbook arrived. :-) Shiny! So, somewhere in the future, I'll need to go to the north side, grab the cooking items for parents, and check both Half Prices up there. :-P

Any hints on which you are looking for?
I've dug up Soul Music, Equal Rites, Reaper Man Sourcery, The Fifth Elephant, and I'm sure I have another one or two hiding around here.

Mike and I have been collecting the Granny Weatherwax-featuring Pratchett novels for about a year now. As fas as I know we have all of his books that feature her, Nanny Ogg, Magrat, and the fourth/replacement witch whose name I cannot remember right now. I know there is one Discworld book that has Granny Weatherwax as a cameo character, but I'm not sure which one (either "The Color of Magic" or "Equal Rites").

The point of all this is to say we also adore Pratchett's stuff, including a couple of non-discworld books we read. We HIGHLY recommend reading "The Last Hero" as it is epic and wonderful.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
