What happens when life is too busy?
Jul. 10th, 2007 04:45 pmConvention is over, and I'll still have a report to make for it, however, for the last two days, prioritizing has been a key.
I still don't have my book for one of my classes. Today was an exam. So, it's been quite a bit of "AHHH, AHHH, PANIC", and listening, and going over my notes, and checking today to see if the book came in (it didn't), and then biting the bullet, and taking my exam.
I got an 80%.
So, now I can calm, a little, but not much, and plan on a few more things in the next week..there's a party this weekend, and an outing to Kentucky Kingdom, which I'm looking forward to, as I've not been there before.
But, for now, a little detox...Final Fantasy X should help for a few. Damned "Blitzball" game in that one. Not as fun as Triple Triad in VIII, but still, strangely addictive once you start playing it. Then, later to go play some games with friends (I finally printed the errated sheets for "Betrayal at house on the hill").
And, sometime this week, start cracking on the access database for Smirk and Dagger again.

Date: 2007-07-11 01:54 am (UTC)As far as Kentuky Kingdom, we've only been once.. Was ok, although reminded me of an upstart amusement park because the rides seemed a bit dated (and the major road that runs right through it didn't help either). Enjoy the day there! And also glad to hear that you survived another convention year!

Date: 2007-07-16 11:10 pm (UTC)Though, as with several things, sometimes it comes in spurts..a few weeks in a row of just jam-packed chaos, followed up by a few more of nada.
How're things with you?

Date: 2007-07-16 11:14 pm (UTC)Ah, Chocobo Racing...it was fun, but I always found Triple Triad more interesting. Something about the interaction of cards.
Now, Chocobo Breeding..there was the real fun. ;-P
