Subtitled: There's no LAUGHING in Algebra...

Ok. So, today, we were going over a new topic. The teacher wrote a word, and I immediately did my "media flash" bit, and chuckled...and chuckled on and off, the entire rest of the class (which was shorter...just one chapter today, then one on Monday, then Wednesday review for Midterm). I had to let the girl next to me know, and she had never heard the reference, but was going to look it up. However, when the teacher came back at one point to see how we all were doing on the problems, she asked why I looked so amused. I told her, and got a "That's not fair, I have to say that word the rest of my life.."

The word was "monomial".

And all I could think of was...

Welcome to my world. :-P Still, at least it was a fun "AHHH", and not a "What the hell am I doing in here???" type. :-)

Awesome, it's so nice to know I'm not alone in that. :-) It was just weird for it to happen there, and have the girl next to me going "Ok, what is so funny?"
