An interesting weekend...

So, this was one of those Mega interesting weekends....

Friday was spent shopping, debated going to a movie, then went home and watched more of "Alias", and GOD is that a good show...just finished up the season last night...and can't wait to go to Season 2....

Saturday, my Nephew's birthday..got to see family for a bit, then had to prep for a date on Saturday night...and the date didn't go horrible. For those not in the know, I have a bad track record at dating...so, it's not something I'm very comfortable doing. But, this date went extraordinarily well...went to dinner, chatted for a long time, and left with a comment that we'd go out again soon. Smart, cute girl...other than that, I won't go into much detail, as I don't want to jinx things...especially as things feel like they went very, VERy well for me. :-)

Sunday was shopping in Greenwood...stopped by Sa's place, in order to use her Hot Tub (It'd been a ROUGH week, my boss was gone all week, so work seemed just a little more hellacious), then had rehearsal for the Starbase Indy play for a few hours...came home, slept for an hour and a half, then woke up, watched more Alias, then Dead Like Me (2 episodes left in the season), then "1" more episode of Alias, which turned into 3 so that I could reach the season finale...not, to watch "Lost", or "Profit", then get back to Alias.

And now, today, is work..our company meeting...it will be busy, and today they make note of the fact that I've been with my company for 5 years...that will be kinda cool.

Still have a GREAT majority of the money I won in Vegas, in Savings..haven't really done a big thing to treat myself yet...will see. I'm still debating getting a PS2....

Oh well...that's the update...

I got a flyer for Starbase Indy on Friday in the mail, and that was the first I'd heard of it. Who is running it, and why did they decide to start it up again?

It's being run by Rusty (Who is actually chairing Incon 2006), and it was decided to start up again, due to the fact that the previous convention that had been masqerading as Starbase was not going to be there this year..and Mariott wanted a convention there..so it was decided by the people who had run SBI BEFORE (Like, 10 years ago), to run it again.

It looks like it will be interesting...I don't know how much of it I'll stay for, as the prices are a little more than I want to pay, but I'm going for the play..that will be a lot of fun. I get to be Archer, from Enterprise. :-)
