Was talking..
Nov. 2nd, 2007 10:09 amWas talking at a dinner a while ago, and I was trying to come up with curses.
Now, we're not talking your NORMAL curses..this is more along the line of (and these were the first two I was able to come up with)
The old standard "May you live in interesting times"
My favored one "May you get all that you deserve"
You know, words, sentences, or phrases that when you first hear them, they don't sound like an insult of sorts..a way to tell someone to fuck off, in a sense. :-)
Indyellen passed along "This too shall pass", As a way of saying that yes, that phrase is normally said in a "the bad times will leave", but can also be turned around to mean good times, as well.
So, anything you have that you think fits the bill?
