Ok..

So, I borrowed "How I Met Your Mother" from a friend..just season 1, will borrow season 2 later..

And, I have to say, in that "Wow, some of this is like most good sitcoms" way, it's better. Some parts are derivative of others, some seem new..and some are just fun (Gee..."Willow" getting to play a mostly normal character is amusing), but..I think the character who reminds me of friends long gone is Barney (Neil Patrick Harris), whereas me? I have horrid flashbacks on being Ted. :-P

But, overall? There are too many people I know who have pieces of these characters, like some of the better shows I like.

aly hannigan is an awesome comedian and neil patrick harris is just hysterical. how far have you gotten? i know when we talked you'd seen the stabbing ep but have you seen the ep where barney and marshall antagonize the guy in the building across the street? that's beyond funny.

I've enjoyed that one, too. The whole season was great..NOW, I must see the second season.
