So, given that I'm in a class on hospitality and such, what are some of you favorite "SNAFU"s within the industry? Restaurant or Hotel service gone awry...

I've never been in a hotel room that didn't have some sort of cosmetic problem in the bathroom. Be it floor molding missing or peeling off, cracks in the tile, laminate coming up, holes in the wall, giant cracks in the ceiling, inoperable vent fan, rusty tub, dripping faucet. Most of these are fixable for under $10, so it boggles the mind. (And maybe it's just my fault for noticing these details, but I expect the room to look better than my own bathroom.)
