are saying, even on the news, that Hillary is out of the presidential race.

But, has she officially said anything, one way or the other yet?

It can be an assumed, even from her people, that it's all done and over, and yet the prime reason I don't want her as candidate is that she seems shifty..I have a deep distrust of her, for whatever reason..moreso than the standard one I have for any politician. But, if she has not said it yet, and I do think she would have if she truly believe it were over, then I'm sorry, it's not over.

I guess I see her as so out of touch, that it's like a bad horror film.."Here she comes again...she's walking slowly, but is 'in it to win it'".

*sighs*

Simple, verifiable segment of speech from her saying "I give", that's all I need.

Obama got the delegates so he wins. Hillary just refuses to concede though. See, this is just another piece showing that she wasn't running for the issues or to change anything. She was running so she could be "Woo! First woman president! Go Hil!" It annoys the shit out of me.

See, and I kinda tend to think that the only reason that she hasn't conceded officially is to keep the image of "going down fighting", for the sake of the rest of her political career. It's the fact that she said she'd be willing to run with Obama as vice-pres that tells me that, in reality, she's conceded defeat, she just hasn't conceded it to her supporters yet.

Sorry, I can't hate Hil. I don't think her campaign is any more of a sales pitch than Obama's... it's just that Obama happened to pick the right pitch.

I see her talking about the VP thing as "Look! Me! I'm still here! I'm still valid! MEMEMEMEMEME!"

LOL. Yeah, but aren't they all pretty much like that?

Not so much. A good politician (and I don't really mean good in a political sense, I mean good in the marketing of themselves sense) will concede when they've lost and leave it at that. It makes them look humble, which people eat up. Hill doesn't even want to do that.

Mmm. I'd still say it's probably an image thing. *shrug*

Odd. I read that she was expected to give a concession speech last night, but I guess she pledged to keep fighting instead.

I began this race with very little opinion between the two candidates. But as Hillary slid behind, she has started using campaign tactics that piss me off. It further pisses me off that those tactics have worked. She's a fighter, and I suspect she'd be a good president, though I admit that I'm uncomfortable with the spouse of a former president running for president. But, in the end, I want a message better than "fighter." I wish she'd chosen something a little better as the driving force of her barely-underdog campaign.

I do wish she'd step down now. I'm worried about the effect this has on the general election. I suspect she may be using her refusal to concede as negotiating fodder for the VP slot.

I would so take Hillary over Bush any freaking day of the week. I like her less as her fight goes on, but ... eh. I would take her over McCain, who is ... meh, but has some bad ideas. I'm just praying Obama can win!
