Started...
Jun. 4th, 2008 01:51 pmI have started watching "Life on Mars", a raved-on BBC series starring John Simm (Who many of you know from Dr. Who), and deals with a man who is a police detective, yet after the accident, wakes up and is in the 70s.
Have only heard of the series, for a brief bit, but only 10 minutes in, I'm puzzled, and more, curious.
No idea if it's accurate...my memory of 1973 (when the show takes place..well, after the accident), is non-existent. :-)
Anyone else watching this? Or watched it, I should say.

Date: 2008-06-05 12:30 am (UTC)great acting, great plots although the little girl in the tv is still damn creepy. they only did two seasons, on purpose if i'm not mistaken. and there's a spin off during the eighties with just the head cop guy. john simms actually did this before he was on dr. who, it's what he's known for in england.
you'll like it. still hesitant about the american version david kelly had cooked up for next season. i might check out the pilot.....
