Surreality shift in 3...2...1...mark.

So, just a short while ago, I went to speak to the...recorder? Not quite a secretary..but the woman who handles a lot of things for our dept at school. I was told I'd want to speak with her, as my graduation date is currently 8/10.

In talking with her, I asked what that meant, as far as graduation ceremony and all that...apparently, even if I'm taking classes in the summer, I'll be walking in May...the school takes it as a good faith that I'll finish up my degree in the short time I'll have after that.

Wow. This just got a fraction more surreal...

Hundreds of thoughts rattling...the journey being more meaningful than the destination type stuff...and this has and is a very long journey in the making. If I were to post all the things, and people, I owe, I'm not sure I'd be sane, or that LJ would have the word count...

I'll post more on that later, as my brain permits, but suffice to say, I'm a tad overwhelmed by it all right now.

I know the feeling. My advisor told me yesterday that it's possible I could be graduating in 12-10. That's a year and a half away. I still have to do my capstone. I feel incredibly underprepared thus far >_> I still have quite a few classes to take, though, so....hopefully those will help. But yeah. I totally know the feeling.
