"Understanding is a three-edged sword".

I have a lot of my favorite quotes from that show, including the whole passage between Londo and Elric in "The Geometry of Shadows" that I've posted before. ;-)

To me, it's always best to try to realize that no matter what you see, or what you hear, there are always at least 3 sides to a given story. That helps me deal with most of my day-to-days.

And as always, I recommend Babylon 5 to all. :-)

Right, and the three sides are: your side, their side, and the truth. Or in the case of a third party conflict, his side, her side, and the truth. There's almost no case where a participant in a conflict can really see the objective truth, even if it's you and you're trying. It's don't mean that one side isn't right and the other wrong, though. Sometimes there's still a clear right and wrong.

It's actually a place where a TV quote has helped me think about things :).
