per_soloI talk sometimes about my family. I've got a unique viewpoint on most situations, because of a lot of factors.
One of the greatest factors is that my parents allowed me to grow and become who I thought I should. They never pushed me down a path, or were as rough as other parents I've seen or heard of. Even when I had some of those friends that good parents worry about, my parents never tried to pick my friends for me, and allowed me to make mistakes, and learn from those mistakes.
My sister and I have always known we are loved, and that's passed down to other members of my family. And I feel blessed to think that I have picked up traits and ideals from both of my parents. Respect for others, respect for life, and a respect that not everyone has the same viewpoint, on any given situation, but that those viewpoints deserve respect, as much as you would want someone to respect yours.
So with that, I say HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! I love you, have a great day, and we will see you on Sunday. :-)
