As normal anymore, I have very little to report. The biggest news of the last week is that I apparently made the Dean's List for last semester. Dunno if I can do it again, but it was a nice little thing to realize.

Still trying to come up with plans for after college...amongst paying loans back, and trying to figure out things like Small Business loans (did I mention I'm plotting, and have a few ideas on what I want to do?), it makes things hard to figure out at times. And if I think too long on it, it'll shut my brain down, to where the only thing I can do is play a few online games.

I'm tired of school...and REALLY wish I'd done college after High School...the rationale is that I got a job after high school and that started paying my bills...and it just went from there. Attempting to do better, be happier, all that.

And there were times good, and times bad. *shrugs* Much like all of life, really.

So, for now, all I do is continue on...I'll be out of school soon...and it seems a hell of a lot quicker than it would have 4 years ago. Today was interesting...a class with a presentation by a local businessman, and a video about the Burning Man festival...which I need to investigate more of.

At this point, looking at finances, I'm REALLY unsure that I'll be able to make it to San Diego Comic Con this year. Hell, if I had surplus cash, the first thing I need to do is pay back a few friends I've owed for a while...then again, I did have a local friend who had offered help in getting to SDCC this year...so, who knows, I may be able to make it after all.

I'm going to TRY to update here more often...it's just...stopping and putting thoughts to page/web anymore is a lot harder than it once was.

And with that, I think I've hit all the things I normally hit or say in LJ entries anymore. ;-)

This sounds like exactly what I did too. And I've been saying for years I wish I had gone after I got out of high school. Hindsight.

FWIW, I bet you appreciate college more now. You're almost done, and when you have it behind you, I suspect you'll look back on it as a good experience.

I like hearing from you, and this is the primary place I get to communicate with you, so yay for updates :).

Yeah...I can look back over my past entries...and see where the lines of "not talking" have come in, and a lot of it is where I feel that I'm saying the same thing in each entry. I don't really have a solution to that, but still feel I need to keep people over here updated.

Yes, but as Echo says below this, I'm pretty sure, had I gone directly after school, that I'd have wasted it...as is, right now with all the loans I've taken, I know just how much this costs me. Not that it's gearing me toward straight A's (Mucho congrats to you, too, btw), but I'm at least aware of just what I need to get done...as opposed to a lot of my fellow students.

I have no doubts that I appreciate it more..and ultimately, whichever of the 3 ideas I have in mind (or others that pop up), I'll be appreciative of having gone to school, even with the feeling that it took an already frazzled existence, threw it in the air, and said "Ok, which pieces fall where?"

I'm trying to get back to updating here more frequently...it just requires more...thought? I always hated doing the "TV" updates of what was going on in my life...always wanted there to be a little more substance behind the LJ. And now, my entries are stagnant. I think I can change that, but it will require putting more thought into it. :-)

*nods* And that's the conundrum. How do I do those entries anymore? Is it worth it to even try? Or do I put that off til next January?

I still get the urge to do big entries sometimes, and then I usually find a way to do them. But anymore I'm finding that Facebook is more convenient. Despite what they've done to it recently.

If TV updates are what you can manage, then do those. I've learned that my friends don't have write "interesting stuff" because they already ARE interesting to me. If you have time/energy/inspiration for more in-depth stuff, then that's welcome too, but don't think it has to be that way all the time.
