To Friends who saw me or may today...

I'm having a rough day, it seems...2 weeks til I'm unemployed, slow going on the Job Hunt, and nerves are just fraying rapidly around the edges.

Don't mean to be argumentative, or defensive, but I really am trying to make sure that I don't have to hit unemployment at all...pride? Oh, probably, hell yeah...but still, it's one more thing to worry about throwing off my taxes next year.

So, I'm being short (Hey, Canary is short, isn't he always??), but I'm aware that I'm doing such, and creating a really bad feedback for myself...really? I want to sleep three days, but then there goes my weekend. And I have a book to finish up...

Anways, I'll try not to be too defensive, or odd, or just plain grouchy...I wish I could guarantee that I won't be, but man, so far, my attempts and predictions have been fairly inaccurate, so I think I'll leave it with a "I'll try", and hope that next week, I'm more rested and can deal better...

Of course, there is the possibility that next week, things will just get a little worse, as, as of Monday, I'll have 10 more days of assured employment..

Of course, the REALLY good news is the exit interview next Wednesday. That should prove to be..interesting.

Just a suggestion... Manpower technical...or Kelly Technical.... find something there while continuing your job search.

Noted..thought I'd contacted Manpower and Kelley, but will redouble...on the plus side, I've heard good news from someone in Comcast, and I've got an Interview with First Line next Friday...so, all is hoping to go well.

:-) Thanks...nothing to do, really, except for what I am doing, which is searching for a job, and trying to decide what I want to do with the rest of my life.

Altho, I think I'll finish Redemption of Althalus, then HBP, soon, so I guess I can pick those as minor goals.

Dunno that I can do THAT (Hell, I've gotten my comcast down to bare minimum...Limited Basic, and Cable Modem), and the price stills seems high to me. :-)
