When one is looking for the unemployment office, one shoudl EXPECT that some place called "Work One" is the place you're looking for..

Until you call, and are told that, No, they don't handle the initial claim..they merely have computers, and counselors, and workshops.

So, I get to go way to the other side of town to do my INITIAL filing for unemployment, then this place will...well, sounds like they are trying to help somehow, tho how much more help they can offer than what I'm doing, or a hearty "Attaboy"...

Annoyance level, VERY high.

It has been a little while, but basicaly, you can fill out the forms and such, meet a career counselor, and then never have to step in the office again. You can fill out the form on-line. Just be prepared to show proof of interview attempts and resumes sent, if they feel like auditing.

Peace,
