Weirdness...

per_soloOk, so I've been trying hard to get parts of the Apt cleaned up...did the closet today...found a WHOLE lot of stuff to pitch or get rid of.
First, a little backstory...few years ago, we had Barry and Sally Childs-Helton at our convention (Actually, last year), and I got to see them this year at Marcon, along with Tom Smith. Several years ago, Echo tried getting me into Filk...and, I got in somewhat..well, aside from "I want to be Peter Lorre" being one of the first she played for me, she played another called "Madman on the Watchtower"...just found out this year that Barry and Sally did that, while in the Black Book Band...so, at Incon this year, the desire to buy the album this song was on was GREAT. However, with the impending Job Loss, I didn't let myself.
Well, in cleaning the closet out, I found this CD..not a burn someone had made, but the real CD itself (sans case)...double checked my vision...and then put it in to listen to.
Now, the question becomes..how did I get this? I don't believe it was a loaner from Echo (in which case, it's survived 2 moves..)...or, from a friend from Ohio that I rarely see...tis nice hearing it, but if it was a loaner, I kinda want to return it.
So, that was today's weirdness...now to prep for gaming on Monday...still need to define my character a little better...tis a Star Wars campaign...with people I'd not RP'd with before...tis fun, but I'm still getting used to it..not having RP'd in a long time before. Ah well. :-)
Other than that, it's been an easy Saturday..stomach has been killing me, so I've been doing simple things at home (Cleaning..go figure), and being happy it's a quiet day.
