per_soloDoes anyone know where I can get a copy of Hudson Hawk? I'm trying to replace a friends copy...
Long story short, it was loaned to a friend, and no one seems to have it, nor can it be remembered which friend it was loaned to...and no one is stepping up to say "Oh, hey, I borrowed it, here it is".
This movie has had two releases on DVD...the original release (which went of print several years ago) had a picture of Bruce Willis on the cover...NOT the version that has been released in the last two years (which you can find almost anywhere now), which has the "Catch the Adventure, Catch the Excitement, Catch the Hawk" poster...the preferred cover is the one the DVD originally shipped with, which is now out of print...so, finding it is going to be a little bit of a task.
Why is this a deal to me? Well, the friend who is missing it has been there to help keep my spirits up for the last several months (Well, actually quite a bit before that..but the Buying Lunches, dinners, driving me places so I don't have to spend gas I don't have...), and I've tasked myself with at least accomplishing this...I may NOT be able to figure out which friend borrowed her copy, but I can at the very least try to see if this wonderful network of friends I have can do anything else about it...It's a $12 movie...so, yeah, if I can find the original cover somewhere, then I'll buy it..if Amazon had it, my $10 gift certificate there would be winging it to my door already. :-)
So, thoughts? Leads? Suggestions?
