Topic: Quirks

1. I'm a media whore. Seriously...Movie trivia, TV trivia, to the point that I annoy the hell out of people with it. It's actually gotten in the way of relationships before, only to have me try to change it, and realize that I never can. I can quote obscure movies...downside is that, if someone else does it, there's a 50/50 chance I'll miss what they're quoting.

2. This goes more under -5 point obsession...Alternate DVD covers. I find cases (like the ones I mentioned a day or so ago), and transfer DVDs to those..and try to print out good looking, snazzy covers for them. Generally, this is to condense space, as having all four "Lethal Weapon" movies on the shelf takes up a bit of space..whereas, in a 4 disc case, they take up the space of a single disc. Similar with the 6 Disc cases...Buffy, Babylon 5 and others take up a lot of space..with these, I can print out covers with spanning spines that look nifty. So, quirk or obsession, you decide.

3. I have "strange luck"...when I need it, it's there..like, to prevent a serious injury..to let me win a little bit of money when I really need it...but, if i don't need it, it totally fluctuates...but, rarely is it midline..it's either one extreme or another.

4. Fine, this will fall under my "media" obsession again. :-P I like making custom soundtracks for TV shows that never had them...my first was a custom "Homicide" soundtrack...have done similar with 24, and Six Feet Under..I was working on one for Buffy when I found the KMN Torrent page, which is made up of Custom Soundtracks. :-)

5. I stress over people...part of it likely goes back to High School..I always want to help people, in some way, shape, form, or respect. To the degree that in at least 75% of situations, I prefer helping others over helping myself. Do I always succeed? Hell no. But I can look at "It's a wonderful life" (hey, a media reference), and realize that Clarence wouldn't have a hard time convincing me that I HAVE done some good.
