Oct. 3rd, 2003 06:47 pmWell, The training went well..caught my eyes drooping only a few times during it...which is pretty good. The worst danger I find is meetings...of course, not sleeping too well last night probably played its hand.
Tonite...am making Garlic French Fries (Picked em up at Trader Joe's a while ago), and am still letting a rant burble in my head...with all the news lately, it's kinda hard for one not to rest there. Will coax it out.
Tis kinda weird, staring around at my walls, and actually SEEING stuff hanging on em...Comedy Mask, X-Files Poster from ages ago (The "I want to believe" poster), a picture of my niece and nephew...wonder if there's anything else for me to hang up...we'll see.
Now, to go listen to some of Sci-Fi Channel's "Seeing Ear theatre", where they have Radio Plays and such...some very good..some are adaptations of old books, some are more recent, some are fun new things, like JMS's "City of Dreams", which is very much like Twilight Zone, and Outer LImits...of those, Episode 2 is probably my favorite, but then, I'm an old School Twilight Zone fan, and that may be the draw to it for me...so, I highly recommend going there. SciFi doesn't have a link to it on their website anymore, so you have to go to http://www.scifi.com/set and check out the stories from there.
Of course, this gets me thinking..it would be fabulous to figure a way to do such...radio plays, broadcast on the net..SciFi is no longer updating theirs...either they lost interest, or it wasn't cost effective, or something...I haven't seen a reason why yet, but then again, I haven't really gone looking. Then again, I always have been a fan of such...I've owned the Star Wars Radio Dramatizations for a LONG time...all 3 of those...and Stephen King's "The Mist", and "Warning Contains Language", thanks to Echo, which is Neil Gaiman reading his own stories...now to get the latest CD he's released.
And enough rambling from me. :-)
