*dancing like that baby video YEARS ago*
Jan. 8th, 2006 12:32 pmYeah, today is going to be a good day.
No talking to psychos...meeting last night was good...
I'll go ahead and publicly congratulate RoyalCrow and IndyEllen on taking the reigns of the Club...and hope that things can turn around as they need to do. And offer my advice, if not quite going out on the limb to offer a lot more than that..
As I think I've said elsewhere...I'm dealing with burnout, school, and a new job...a break, after the tumult that was my own convention, is definitely needed here.
Today is going to be me going to the library, grabbing a bite to eat, and then finishing the living room. Mom and Dad dropped by yesterday, and in so many minutes, the Kitchen looked better, the dining table looks great, as does the bathroom..that leaves me the remnants of the living room, and then the Bedroom..
That one scares me...dunno why, bedroom always is the worst one to clean..must be some deep childhood thing.
But, first, to figure out what i want to eat for lunch...plenty of choices, not a lot of motivation.

We need to plan a trip to CA for some In-N-Out. Yum.
Now I'm hungry and it's all your fault!

Date: 2006-01-08 07:48 pm (UTC)In-N-Out = the best burgers EVAR. They used to be only in CA, but have recently branched out to Nevada and Arizona.
Everything is fresh. They don't even HAVE freezers. They raise and slaughter their own cows even, and their meat standards are higher than the government standards. (They are one of 4 companies that can say that.)
All the veggies are fresh too. Also, you can't cook the burgers until you are a manager and EVERYONE starts out at a Level 1. Meaning, no food even gets touched until you are a Level 3 and that takes at least a year.
They also pay more than any fast food restaurant around. The menu hasn't changed in 50 years, and it's all about the menu items NOT listed. The secret ones that only native Californian's and employees know about.
Yeah, I worked there. So what?

The resident food snob says Two Thumbs UP; whenever I'm in CA a mandatory stop is the nearest In-n-Out.

Date: 2006-01-08 09:50 pm (UTC)Not planning munchies, yet, but I'll enjoy doing that part too.
There's a certain irony in the fact that at one time I never thought I'd even be a paid CoJ member (just attend/work the convention)...and now I'm VP.
But God is an iron, anyway. ;)
