Tonite, I resigned from the Circle of Janus, and as programming head of '06.

Due to my school, and the fact that I have a stressful job, I will be unable to fulfill the duties...and can no longer take the time to care.

I'll still try to do the 3 tracks of programming that Jeff, Rob and I do, but as of tonite, am out.

Sad...sad that I can't keep up with all that's going on, but really, at this point, I have to watch out for myself. Even sadder that I've been a part of the club for 10 years at this point, and have to drop it now.

But, unless a better job magics its way into my life, there ain't no way to look at it otherwise...This job I'm at ends in 5 months...if I have to go through the angsty whiny mess of job hunting, just as the convention happens, then I'll be more of a wreck than I was when I was unemployed AFTER the convention last year. I'm rarely sure of what to do, but as with most things, this is the decision that makes sense to me at this time.

My friends may not understand it..some will, but my real friends will support what is a rough time in my life right now.

ConfusedJew: Thanks for the e-mail..yes, we're going to dinner soon! :-) Prefereably at the Cinema Grill.

Sorry hon!

You only have so much time in a day - some things were going to have to drop when school gets hectic.

Smile - you'll feel better!

I do understand. Hell, a few years back, I didn't go to an OVFF because it was actually more stressful to do so than not -- and that was just attending.

You must take care of yourself first. Your health and education should come first. Your friends do support you and wish you the best.

We understand that you need to prioritize things and bring down your stress level. But you still need to have some fun and blow off steam. If you start to give up to much of that then I will also tell you to get your head out of your ass and live a little. : ) You know we love you.

Per, I know that it must have been stressful to do, but if you don't have enough time for everything, then decisions had to be made. Keeping employeed is important so that you can statisfy your primal urges (eating, housing, etc). School is important becuase it will allow you to satisfy cerebral growth, in addition to getting a better position later on. Although you do have friends in COJ, they should understand the situation that you're in, and either quiting entirely or "taking a break" will allow you to step back for a moment and regroup. You did the right thing, rather than trying to fulfill all responsibilities and becoming too stressed because of your overabondance committments and lack of "free" time. (hugs)

Just because you aren't going to be active for one year while you get things sorted out doesn't mean you've quit for good or that you aren't still friends with those members in the club. Remember that.

I'm sorry it was the thing that had to go in your schedule, but really? At least you are moving in your life again.

know this was hard for you to do for many reasons. You have to take care of you. Breaks are good.
