Well, I appreciate the problem. I honestly just studied what I liked, and I was lucky that it translated to a good job.
If you don't feel pulled one way or the other, I think Occupational Therapy is likely to be a better bet than Psychology as far as going straight to a job afterward, but you should be able to get the placement rate from the school. Also, it's probably worthwhile to look at the required courses for the degree and see if there's anything in there you think you'd hate or be really bad at.
I personally think that people-oriented careers are exactly right for you, so both Psychology and Occupational Therapy sound like good choices.
Have you been to a counselor on campus or taken one of those career aptitude tests? I can't remember.
You can probably wander around on the IUPUI website and find who to talk to, so you don't just have to wander around blind. Not sure what you have in mind.
I agree with Susan. The housing situation should be whatever option you can do, that makes you the happiest to go to school full time.
I would offer you a third option, but I believe Jason would drive you crazy :)

I'd also say look into something like a Co-op program, we pay ours well enough in the Engineering field to be able to afford to live alone both during co-op and during school sessions, it also gives you a chance every other semester to *do* some of what you are studying so you'd know well in advance rather you hate it or not.
But we've also talked about this at great length in person, so eh.
Really? We have 3 rotating Computer Science Co-ops here. I said look into because I don't know if there is one in his field of choice, but I know here we have them in 3 fields (Engineering, Sales management and CS) so I'd imagine something might exist.
as i stated in my answer take the time to meditate on it. then decide what's best. you'll never be able to realize the right answer until you definitely know what you want.
Hey Per I'm negative_42 for a reason; no answers. I can give you a question however,as I look at your poll your layout and wording makes me think "which negative answer should I pick or which one sucks the least" I have to wonder if you are asking yourself the proper question(s)?
You know, you do have a good point...s'far as the move? Yeah, lots of negatives,though, each has a positive light..now, the schooling, on the other hand...

Okay so I maybe crazy and I know you have not lived with parents for a long time. But LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS! You won't ever feel guilty eating their food; if you are low on cash, parents are known to slip you gas money; if you they get mad at you, they are not going to kick you out (at least not immediately)& parents still love you after you have mooched off them (okay most parents and I think Per's parents fall in the most category).
