Today's Top 5...

Top 5 Cancelled TV shows...my list is below..what are you favorite TV shows that have been cancelled? If you feel like explaining why? go for it...I may edit this post later to explain WHY on these five..And, to differentiate...at some point, I'll have a "One Season Wonders"...shows that were great, but cancelled in their first year..so, no need to put those here, unless you really want to.

1. The Original Twilight Zone
2. Babylon 5
3. Highlander
4. Buffy The Vampire Slayer
5. Reasonable Doubts

I'll explain why, later...after I put some food in my stomach. :-P

have only one objection to your list.

buffy wasn't cancelled both sarah geller and joss whedon(god himself) decided to end it. it's my understanding that upn was willing to pay for at least an eigth season if not beyond.

now...if you had listed angel....that's a whole other story which leads me to..

joan and quantum are two of my favs.... Not sure what else I would add. Of course, going back to my youth Star Trek.

*nod* at 3 years, I think it counts...Joan I heard started to downslide in it's second year...Quantum Leap was also running into problems, but I still loved it.

Was Babylon 5 cancelled or had it just finished it's story arc?

I can think of so many others: Freeks and Geeks, Titus, The X-files, Futurama, Farscape, FireFly, Red Dwarf, Married with Children, Reboot,
The Pretender and on and on...
You might try the top 5 shows that should be cancelled

Oohhh..not a bad idea...

Babylon 5 was cancelled, or on the bubble, so many times that it is amazing..the arc was 5 years, however, they filmed the final episode at the end of year 4 (which is why Ivanova is in it)...could go either way.

Will think more as this project continues..and you bring up quite a good ones..I should have said "ended" series...as X-Files should have ended a good 2 or 3 years before it did. Lone Gunmen is another that will go in my list of "Top 5 One Season wonders"...
